The 3rd Annual Delray Beach Surf Festival will be held November 14, 2015

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - Oct. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- BirthdayComp.com, a free social gifting web app that allows people to find free birthday gifts offered by local businesses on their birthday month, along with Mayor Cary Glickstein, a surfer himself, will be producing the 3^rd Annual Delray Beach Surf Festival. The festival aims to raise funds for the Ocean Rescue with the help of the Downtown Development Authority and the local surfers and kite boarders, to be held on November 14, 2015 from 9AM-5PM directly on the Delray Beach, a mile south of Atlantic Avenue at Tower 4. The all-ages event will offer great food, great prizes and a great time is sure to be had by contestants and attendees.

As has become customary, the tech startup BirthdayComp.com will be assisting the Mayor and Downtown Development Authority with the Surf Festival by gathering sponsorships, designing graphics, flyers and promotional materials, collaborating with local artists to make trophies for the many contests, and reaching out to local restaurants that will be providing complimentary food for everyone.

This year's proceeds of the Surf Festival aim to help The Delray Beach Ocean Rescue to buy more handicapped accessible equipment for the local beach.  "It's easy to find me; on most days I'm in front of the computer, working with our team of developers to improve and grow BirthdayComp.com. The Surf Festival will feature surf and paddle board contests within each age division, along with a 5-man paddle relay, beach flag contest for the kids and a tug of war competition for all ages. The kick-off party is at the Surf Museum in Delray Beach on November 11, 2015 where anyone can register for an event and enjoy learning about the surfing history of Delray Beach.
