SBA Administrator to Deliver NADCO Annual Meeting Keynote

WASHINGTON - Oct. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Maria Contreras-Sweet, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Obama administration Cabinet member, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker for the National Association of Development Companies’ (NADCO) Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Nov. 11.

“We are very honored to host Ms. Contreras-Sweet at our annual meeting,” said Barbara A. Vohryzek, President and CEO of NADCO. “She has been a true advocate and champion for the 504 Loan Program, a long-term SBA-backed loan designed to expand asset purchasing power for small businesses and facilitate job growth.”

NADCO is the trade association of SBA Certified Development Companies (CDCs), the only approved providers of the SBA 504 loan.

The 24th Administrator for the SBA, Contreras-Sweet is charged with supporting America’s small businesses, which create two out of three new private sector jobs in our economy and employ half of our nation’s private-sector workforce. NADCO shares in this mission by promoting, enhancing and educating the industry of CDCs, working closely with the SBA to promote access to capital for America’s small businesses.

Registration is now open for the conference, which will be held at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans, Nov. 11-13, 2015. The meeting is for CDC executives and board members, business development officers, loan officers, third-party lenders and critical support staff. Industry experts will be there to help members understand regulation and policy and navigate the technical world of SBA financing.
