Ideum Group Releasing RastPro 2.1 (Hermon)

CHICAGO - Nov. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Ideum Group has released RastPro: 2.1 (code name  “Hermon”) - a hosted software solution for demand planning, inventory control and replenishment.

RastPro combines forecast values from different sources: model-driven (RastPro), sales & marketing, and external sources to aid the planner in deciding their final unified forecasts values. Next, to assess and improve the overall forecasting process, RastPro quantifies and tracks forecast accuracy not only on a product level, but on an aggregate level to serve as a macro-level summary of the forecast process capability.

Using an accurate demand forecast values, RastPro calculates a wide range of metrics for inventory control and replenishment to help users with their inventory procurement and replenishment decisions.

Starting with version 2.1, RastPro introduces MRP and Retail modules, meaning the planner can now manage the forecasting process of finished goods, input raw materials and/or components at different locations throughout the supply chain.

RastPro 2.1 puts Ideum Group in a great position to proceed with the enhancement of RastPro forecasting, inventory replenishment and ad-hoc what-if scenarios support in the upcoming software versions.
