2015 Beacon Award Honorees

PRLog -- Black women around the New York City area who exemplifies immense leadership should be honored for their strives to the top of what ever field of profession they are in. The Coalition of One Hundred Black Women (NYCOBW) was an incorporated organization founded in 1970 dedicated to the discovery of these model black women.
The criteria for this prestigious Beacon award was given to Raven Robinson, the founder of the reputable political public relations firm, PR2Politics because of her tenacity and outstanding achievements in the profession that she has constructed for herself. For Raven Robinson to be the award recipient for this years 45
th Anniversary will serve as a demonstration to all female entrepreneurs in the city and will raise the bar. In 2010 Ms. Robinson was a participant of the coalitions Role Model program as a sophomore in College. The main objective is to show individuals who represent the incorporation in the most polished and presentable manner to further paint a picture of what kind of inspiration they signify. “It is truly a humbling experience to be recognized for the efforts I’ve put forth that I don’t even do for credit,” says Robinson.
This Commemoration ceremony for Founder’s Day will take it’s place on the 7
th of November. The selected venue will be at the Yale Club, which is located at 50 Vanderbuilt, New York. It will be from 12:00-3:00pm
