Local Cafe Announces Holiday Open House And New Winter Hours

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - Oct. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Local tea shop and restaurant, Lucky Tea Café announces their 1^st Annual Holiday Open House on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 2 PM – 4 PM. The café, located at 1705 South Beacon Blvd. in Grand Haven, will feature gift sets, loose-leaf teas, and a variety of tea brewing merchandise available for purchase during the event. Known for their delicious quiche, flavored baked oatmeal and many other house-made treats, Lucky Tea Café will also offer free samples of the café’s seasonal teas and food items.

“We’re hoping to make the Holiday Open House an annual event,” shares Lucky Tea Café Manager, April Nadeau. “So many of our tea sets and loose-leaf teas make fabulous gifts! An open house really gives our customers and people who haven’t heard about us yet, an opportunity to see what we have to offer – especially for the holiday season.” Guests are encouraged to visit their Facebook page event for more information.

Lucky Tea Café opened in February of this year and has enjoyed good success. The café currently employs 8 staff members and offers a full menu of unique tea-based drinks, home made baked goods as well as classic breakfast items such as eggs benedict, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes and more. The menu also includes lunch and dinner offerings like wraps, sandwiches, salads and soups. A variety of tea brewing merchandise and loose-leaf teas are also available for purchase in the café. “With the rise in awareness about the health benefits of drinking tea, we hope to become a destination for tea lovers along the Lakeshore. Our staff is well-trained and can answer many questions about the teas we offer as well as provide informational brochures about the health benefits to our guests,” states Nadeau.

In addition to the Holiday Open House, Lucky Tea Café will also be open on a new winter hours schedule until the spring beginning on November 1st. The new hours are: Sunday from 9 AM - 2 PM, Monday through Friday from 7 AM - 6 PM and Saturday from 8AM - 6PM.
