Mahendra Engineering College in association with TNSTC conducts Workshops for Engineering Students

CHENNAI, India - Nov. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Every year, the Mahendra Engineering College collaborates with TNSTC to give its students the opportunity to explore ground-breaking innovations in the field of engineering. This year the institution hosted a series of 3-day workshops on campus that covered topics such as Embedded Solutions, Robotics and Sensors.

Covering the latest trends, research and innovations in the industry, the 3-day workshops comprised of scheduled activities that were led by Prof.M.E.Rajamanicam of Bits ‘N’ Watts Embedded Solutions based in Chennai. The industry-specific training, learning and collaboration sessions allowed students to analyse and understand prototypes and focused on providing exposure to real time industry-related technology.

Mahendra Engineering College (MEC) has constantly strived to help develop specific abilities that are necessary for students’ career advancement. Through regular workshops and seminars MEC gives its students the opportunity to optimise their level of competency in their area of study.

This year, the Mahendra Engineering College and TNSTC workshops enabled students to explore, reflect and discuss ground-breaking innovations by bringing together industry insights and theory grounded in practice. By introducing students to a range of design, structural and operational concepts, the workshops aimed to help them gain an overall knowledge of the applied technology and its functioning.

Through real world examples, case studies, and interactive exercises the intensive 3-day workshops held on campus this year enabled participants to gain unique hands-on experience and also allowed them to explore and apply innovative concepts relating to the next-generation of technology.
