"We had a tremendous run in 2015, with attending filmmakers from Mexico, Australia, Canada and Texas," says festival chair Chris Scioli. "We had two attending film distributors, and distribution offers are being made to six features which we screened, half of them from overseas. We expect this to lead to even more international submissions and attending filmmakers in 2016." In 2015, Buffalo Dreams screened 103 films over eight days: 23 features, seven short features, 70 shorts, and three music videos. Programming was divided evenly between its three divisions: North American, International, and Western New York. "No other film festival in Western New York has spotlighted as many regional films as we did this year," says co-chair Greg Lamberson. "We're proud that we gave so many local artists the opportunity to screen their work on a large screen. The addition of Buffalo Dreams Family Film Festival not only allows us to increase our audience, it allows us to introduce younger local filmmakers to the film festival experience." Buffalo Dreams showcases the best independent action, animation, comedy, drama, horror, science fiction and thriller films from around the world. Its 2013 edition will run from Friday, November 4th - Sunday, Nov. 13th. Feature length, short feature, short, and micro-short film submissions, as well as Original Un-Produced Screenplay submissions, can be made through FilmFreeway and Without a Box. http://www.buffalodreamsfilmfest.com/ https://twitter.com/ https://www.facebook.com/ End
