Call for Applications: Russian Business Exchange and Student Training Program

WASHINGTON - Nov. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Cultural Vistas is now accepting applications for the inaugural Russian Business Exchange and Student Training (RBEST) program that will welcome 12 Russian students and professionals to the United States in 2016.

Funded by a grant from the Embassy of the United States in Moscow and administered by Cultural Vistas, RBEST is a new private-sector exchange program that is designed to strengthen business-to-business ties between Russia and the United States. RBEST offers skilled Russian students and professionals the opportunity to complete four-to-six month training programs at leading U.S. companies.

Cultural Vistas is seeking applications from Russian citizens representing a diversity of fields, including but not limited to: business, sciences and technology, engineering, biomedical sciences, design, applied arts, architecture, marketing, management, finance, and law.

Applicants must currently reside in Russia and have at least two years of work experience in their field, hold a university degree or equivalent training, possess high fluency in English, and be committed to Russian-U.S. business relations. Students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, December 22, 2015.

The program will begin with virtual activities in March 2016 and include an orientation seminar in Moscow. In April 2016, the 12 participants will begin training programs with U.S. companies that fit their experience and aspirations. They will have also the opportunity to participate in up to two professional development workshops in New York City and Washington, D.C. during the program.
