Engstrom, who lives independently with cerebral palsy, wrote “Original Orik and His Important Job” from the perspective of her faithful service dog, Orik The book’s publisher is M&B Global Solutions Inc. of Green Bay. Orik likes to run, bark and play like most other dogs. But Orik also is a trained service dog who takes his job very seriously. In the story, Orik helps his person, Christy, accomplish many things that come up during her day. Christy and Orik demonstrate what teamwork is all about, even when Orik gets into mischief.
