Another Mile Stone Of For Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology

PANIPAT, India - Nov. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- It has been a matter of pride for Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) called TOP COLLEGES IN HARYANA, a group of colleges with all Engineering and Management undergraduate and post graduate courses within one complex,( which is an amazing fact but probably the one of many which grants it the title of being the best in the state),  to provide a platform for the prestigious “Preventive Vigilance as a tool of Good Governance” program, an initiation from the PMO, a mission close to the heart of Sh. Narender Modi to plant India high on the world map by bringing about radical changes in the work culture of government offices, who have lost public faith over the years since independence. Since the program was scheduled to be conducted only in 3 colleges of Panipat District, PIET was chosen as one of these being a campus of name and fame situated on the NH1 at 70 mile stone, just 50 minutes short of Delhi border, which is also famous for its strategic location to serve the rural area students, particularly girls, for which the late President Dr. A P J Kalam had said,

“I had a great anxiety to visit this institute. In the era of woman empowerment I am all the more impressed to find so many girls pursuing Engineering and computer courses, which is good sign for the country”

M/s Hari Om Tayal, Chairman, Suresh Tayal, Secretary, Rakesh Tayal, Member BOG, S K Khanna, Administrator and Dr. K K Palliawal, Director  welcomed the visiting team comprised of  Mr. Subodh Kr Goel: DGM(PCMO),  Mr. Anupam Mishra: Manager(PCMO),  Mr. Ved Prakash Arya: AM(BD-F), Mr. R.K.P. Sinha: AM(PCMO) who were here to drive home the point that vigilance should not be seen in isolation but as a tool to achieve good governance and better operational results. They shared with the audience that the Vigilance Awareness Week is being celebrated every year and coincides with the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the iron man of India who is known to be a man of high integrity. Mr. Subodh emphasised that the decision of launching this program in schools and colleges across the country is a right and wise step to spread awareness at a larger level through word of mouth. An interactive and meaningful presentation made by the visitors was followed by skits, debate and a paper reading contest by the PIET students which was greatly applauded by all.

In his address to the students, Mr. Subodh said that he and his team were greatly impressed by the artifact world class infrastructure of Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, which provides air-conditioned class room and seminar halls to the students to make them comfortable while undergoing studies, which he said was more than value for money. He was also appreciative about the faculty team of the institute, which he said is instilling extraordinary skills and moral values at the same time. The effective education, he added, was visible through student presentations on the stage.

While thanking the visitors Sh. Rakesh Tyal said, “I am happy for our institute being the centre of attraction for many events and we are always in favour of such events of national magnitude and importance because it gives a feeling of satisfaction and pride to serve the cause of the country directly or indirectly. He also appreciated the contribution of the PIET faculty team to make The Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology the top colleges of Haryana, Delhi NCR and North India and reiterated to keep the persistent efforts on to maintain the status. He also advised the students to participate more actively in such projects like the “Preventive Vigilance” and adopt the same as a concept of life on an ongoing basis.
