AUSTIN, Texas - Nov. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Who better to talk with than an ER nurse about care issues with the terminally ill and the dying in emergency rooms in America? Amanda has worked in a few around the country and has a great perspective on this.

Her blog, Changing the Face of Dying, www.changingthefaceofdying.com, is where you can find her sharing her observations and making a difference. She recently accompanied me on my 2nd Doula Journey to New Zealand and Australia and we not only shared a wonderful experience meeting world leaders in end of life and seeing beautiful countryside, but we met our own souls and dug deep in our own spiritual nature.

We did this interview overlooking Jones Beach in Kiama Downs Australia, our last stop on our Doula Journey, www.doulajourney.com.

About Amanda: Amanda has been an ER Nurse for the last 12 years, working as a traveling nurse in hospitals across the country.  For the last 6 years she has worked exclusively in Emergency Rooms.  In her field she is continuously exposed to patients and family in their moments of crisis and loss.  Through her years of practice Amanda has come to view death through different eyes and she has experienced death in many different ways. (read more about Amanda on her website.)
