Revelation Energy & Lighting Announces LED Retrofit Project for CopperPoint Mutual Insurance

PHOENIX - Nov. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Revelation Energy & Lighting representing Next Step Energy Solutions announced today that it has entered into an agreement with CopperPoint Mutual Insurance to retrofit two properties with LED lighting. The two projects will save CopperPoint Mutual an estimated $1.8 million dollars on electricity and maintenance costs as well as improve light quality. The two buildings to be retrofitted include a three-story underground parking garage at CopperPoint’s corporate headquarters located at 3030 N. 3rd St in Phoenix and a six-story office building and 5 story parking garage at 4600 E. Washington Street. CopperPoint Mutual will participate in APS's rebate program which will save on upfront costs to convert to LED lighting.
CopperPoint began planning lighting improvements at their corporate offices in Phoenix last year. CopperPoint Mutual Insurance is purchasing the LED lighting from Next Step Energy Solutions who is represented by Revelation Energy & Lighting, an Arizona based energy efficiency solutions company.

“CopperPoint Mutual will see a noticeable difference in lower electric bills and better quality of lighting by switching to LED lighting,” said Brett Jones, Owner of Revelation Energy & Lighting.  “We conducted lighting audits and proposed LED solutions to maximize savings,” he added.

"After looking at the LED pro-forma, it really was a no-brainer to make the switch to LED lighting for these two projects," said Rick DeGraw, Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer for CopperPoint Mutual Insurance.
Approximately 500,000 square feet of office and parking garage space will be retrofitted with LED Lighting. CopperPoint's return on their investment is just over one and half years with a projected annual savings of $85,000 for both projects. The LED Tubes being used for these projects have a 10 year warranty and are projected at 100,000 hours of operational life. The projects are projected to be completed by the end of the year.
