Artists for Animals Event Benefits Hungry Animals and Starving Artists

DESTIN, Fla. - Dec. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Artists for Animals is an event that will combine visual as well as performing artists to raise funds for Sinfonia Gulf Coast and Alaqua Animal Refuge on December 2^nd from 5:30 to 8:30pm. Various local artists have been invited to create works of art such as paintings, sculptures and jewelry. These works of art will be on display along with live musical performances by Sinfonia Gulf Coast.

An auction to benefit Sinfonia Gulf Coast and Alaqua Animal Refuge will take place at 5:30pm. Original pieces of art that local and regional artists have created over the last few months will be displayed. Over 35 pieces of art, inspired by animals and music, created specifically for this event, will be auctioned off during Artists for Animals.

Refreshment stations will be serving small plates and beverages from local eateries such as Roux 30A, Bijoux, DIG, desserts by Smallcakes and cocktails from Timber Creek Distillery. Smile Ya’ll will feature a photo booth complete with red carpet. Pets are also invited and welcome to the event. Pet-friendly treats will be offered by the merchants of the Market Shops.

The Market Shops will host the event and is located at the entrance of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Convenient to Destin condos and 30A Rentals, this local dining, shopping and entertainment center sits on the corner of Emerald Coast Parkway (Highway 98) and Sandestin Boulevard.
