Follow on Google News | “Warriors for Change in Tanzania”Wells founded Unite the World with Africa Foundation to “promote peace and prosperity for the world’s poor through the provision and advancement of health, education and micro finance programs.” She has more than 20 years of experience working with corporations and not-for-profits. In addition to her work with the Unite Foundation, Wells runs the Unite Tours service safari program, the Ashe Collection global marketplace for African artistry, and co-directs the Unite for Africa youth group program in the United States. She was named a “Local Defender” by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights. Wells received her BA in Anthropology from Kenyon College in 1993 and received the Margaret Mead Award and attended University of California at Berkley’s Graduate School of Journalism.
