Chewmate: A Universal Chewing Gum Holder

JACKSON, N.J. - Jan. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Chewing gum is a daily essential for many of us, yet gum packaging really isn't practical for everyday use. After dropping gum, losing packs, and chewing gum that's gone stale, British designer Patrick Marini set out to design an effective storage container, that's lightweight, durable and easily accessible at all times.

After exploring different types of container for their functionality, durability and versatility Patrick experimented with different types of gum, including sticks, tabs and pellets. The result, a universal construction that comfortably holds most types of chewing gum,. It can also hold mints, candy, medication and other small items.

Chewmate includes a 1" flat split­ring for attaching to your bag or keychain, a precision screw top to keep your gum secure, and a weather resistant silicone o­ring to protect your gum from the elements. The ergonomic shape and fillet edges makes it comfortable to hold and interact with. Plus the bead blasted and anodized body provides a durable finish to minimize daily wear and tear. It keeps your gum fresh and also protects it from pets and small children.

To produce tooling molds and meet with minimum order quantities, Patrick has taken his idea to Kickstarter.com in an attempt to raise $5,000 in 38 days.
