Follow on Google News | Introducing a Powerhouse Ventriloquist and Entertainer for the Corporate WorldJeff Dunham of Comedy Central and Paul Zerdin, winner of America's Got Talent have made ventriloquists popular. Tom Crowl brings ventriloquist comedy to the corporate event market with personalized programs designed for company audiences.
Tom Crowl didn't start his career as a solo artist. For a decade and a half, he performed side by side with his wife Dierdre in a comedic magic act called Tom Crowl & The Mrs. From fairs and festivals to corporate events and schools, the duo brought laughter and genuine entertainment to stages alike. When Deirdre was offered a job in 2005 that would help her further her career, she took it. Crowl moved forward on his own, reinventing himself as a professional ventriloquist. Today Tom continues to bring those same elements to audiences worldwide with his hilarious sidekicks, Dangerous, Wilson, and Taco. Tom and his crew of puppets are often recognized from his appearance on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, as well as his performances at corporate events, associations, theaters, and resorts around the world. With relevant messaging and customized performances, Crowl is able to address the needs of corporate culture while still delivering powerful, comedic content. When he's not in these rooms transforming attendees, he's out in front of the celebrity crowd, warming up audiences for high-profile acts like The Drifters, Chubby Checkers, Rodney Atkins, The Marvelettes, and The Diamonds. Crowl said his early influencers include the likes of Senor Wences of Ed Sullivan fame, Steve Martin, and Robin Williams. The true art of ventriloquism is rare. In today's world, it is no longer considered a 21st-century art form. But Crowl is working to change that with an online, virtual ventriloquism course. As he talks about in his ventriloquism blog (http://comedyventriloquist.com/ "If you see a singer and they're bad, you've seen enough singers to know it was just a bad singer. People don't see ventriloquists that often. So if you catch a bad ventriloquist, you decide you don't want to see them again," he told the Carroll County Times in an interview. Ian Mac, a graduate of Crowl's online video course, Learn Ventriloquism, said, "Learning ventriloquism and talking to Tom has led me to other things such as making my own puppets, writing my own scripts, and creating magic for puppets. I still consider myself a student of ventriloquism and enjoy the association I have with Tom and the other members of the learning site." Tom Crowl is also published author and podcaster, two elements that have earned him accolades in the entertainment and ventriloquism world. His act is available on DVD titled: Tom Crowl Alone Again Un-Naturally. Learn more at www.comedyventriloquist.com End
