The popularity of the Sportage has been driven by its sporty size, with seating for up to five and a profile that makes it easy to zip in and out of parallel parking spots in the city. The entry-level LX model has many features that drivers still expect to pay extra for, including Bluetooth for phone and audio, satellite radio, and a USB audio input. In addition to the new leather upholstery, upgrades bring amenities like the Kia Uvo telematics system and an upgraded Infinity sound system, as well as a turbocharged engine. Powering the Sportage is one of two engines: • A 2.4L four-cylinder with 182 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque earning up to 28 highway mpg. • A turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder with 260 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, rated at as much as 26 highway mpg.
