ATLANTA - Dec. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA – October 20, 2015

Local businesses presented their innovative business ideas at the prestigious Venture Atlanta event held over two days, October 20th and October 21st at the Georgia Aquarium in downtown Atlanta. This annual event draws over 1,000 investors and has helped budding entrepreneurs raise over $1.3 billion in funding to launch and expand their new companies. With creativity at the heart of this event, Venture Atlanta named video storytelling professionals, Friendly Human as the 2015 official video partner.

This event always attracts an impressive lineup of innovative companies, and this year’s presenters are continuing the legacy. Two clients of Friendly Human are on the docket to present to the crowd; Gimme, a recent start-up seeking early stage funding and Buzzboard, named as one of Atlanta’s venture spotlight companies to watch.

“It is events like these that remind us why Atlanta is a hub for technology and innovative companies,” said Allyson Eman, the Executive Director of Venture Atlanta. “The companies that present always convey a great sense of passion and dedication to their work. We wanted to capture this human element and approached Friendly Human because of their great work in our technology community.

As the official media partner, Friendly Human produced a tribute video for Mr. John Imlay, known as "Atlanta's godfather of angel investing". The touching video was shown during the event in commemoration of his life-long pursuit to embrace and encourage new ideas. Throughout the event, Friendly Human captured live, raw footage and used their live editing station to create real-time professional quality videos. These videos were posted to social media outlets throughout the two-day event - providing immediate value for presenters and attendees that shared their stories on camera.
