My dog likes to jump out of speeding boats. Niw, when he decides to dive in, all I have to do is grab the handle and lift. It fits great because you can adjust it in 3 spots. 2 underneath and 1 in front if the neck. I ordered the one for a med dog. It fit as expected. I have a larger Jack Russell mix that weighs around 26 lbs.
