For problem solving, Beautimus employs an oracle of her own making, The Anam Glyphs—the very one she has written a book about—as one might Tarot or Rune Stones. Their adventures and situations parody Earth culture, and address issues that plague modern humanity, which reaches a climax in a violent conflict that threatens to turn their district, Wayflower, into a wasteland. Lady Beautimus’ story is a magical fable-stew made with the ingredients of comedy, political-social lampoon, drama, and mystery with a generous pinch of romantic flavoring thrown into the pot for good measure.
