Follow on Google News | Silo! - book of poetry by Jodde MareeBy: Aquillrelle Stormy Voice Echoes are present currents, you run like a Handmade river, parts of you vanish in clear shelter Burning alive! Dainty fire! Your skin is eggshell, White porcelain shinning! Clever ash! Flying – Your stormy voice is chaos to the ears of strangers Roaming tides are open windows, a distant friend Calling you! Peeling you open! Watch the water It’s flourishing in brave pours of verse!. Rich characters are clouds, fresh sounds moving with your tears! Rain! Rain! Praise all blooms! *** Ambrose Shells Red sea’s a generous exit you wash your hands Of the fever and the bite – A covered regret floating by, Your hands the cradle of the soul I bridged open blue tins of your eyes. A sentence of light unturned in silence This night a clarity of wounds, Seeps through the doors like broken lips Disabled by chambers of stars – You pulled down the lid of chains Blowing against your heart. *** Separation Powder Screaming in slow motion Your skin a paused window Unfolds itself in daylight – White hands stretch across fragile air Blind clouds race away – Minutes come falling down, Each part of you a current blinking Red! White! Which colour holds true! Spaces engulf the madness of beauty You search for blue streams a water shed Comes closing in – It all profits the hours which chase Your skin – Life boats of a pure anger. *** Homeless Burrow White fire – a staircase of shadows Steps and predictions of a swollen tongue. Figurines of the after flesh – Accustomed frozen fixtures. Your heart a glass mantle piece Of songs and devotion. You closed your eyes for a second And your home flew away. *** His Traces Scented lips a moonlights fire He traces my steps Like a tower of lilac perfume The emotion of beauty shines A season of him foretells A million stories – Colours have new beginnings In sensed with life A wonderful sky Pressing for the hour Calling me home – Forgetting my mistakes He wanders in the thought of me And simply remembers.
