Success Social Miami 6in60 Networker and Unconference Debuts in Miami

MIAMI - Jan. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- The first-ever Success Social Miami gathers six speakers and attendees from different walks of life at Via Verdi on January 28, 2016 in Miami’s MiMo District for an evening of social networking and sharing of best practices. Speakers have 10 minutes to share a story and may pitch their business – as long as they share a best practice.

The event is presented by Maria de los Angeles (a.k.a. @vicequeenmaria), an award-winning Miami-based writer and social media influencer, founder of HeartCamp. She is also co-host for the Social Chats Locals podcast.

To start the new year on a positive note, Maria is inspired by the following quote from Dr. Wayne Dyer: “Refuse to ever use the term ‘failure’ again about yourself or anyone else. Remind yourself that when things didn't go as planned you didn't fail, you only produced a result. Then ask yourself this powerfully life-enhancing question, ‘What am I going to do with the results I've produced?’ ”

Each speaker will address this question when sharing a best practice.

Maria hopes to build a mindful community of people from diverse backgrounds. 
“This isn’t just for media professionals,” she said. “Everyone has a story to share. All are welcome.”

"I’ve been blessed to know so many amazing souls who do amazing things," she said. "This is my not-so-sneaky way of bringing them all together under one roof to share, inspire and connect. Success Social Miami (#successsocialmia) runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Speakers present from 7 to 8 p.m. Guests will enjoy happy hour specials, 10% off their entire check for dinner after 9 PM, and have a chance to win a bottle of Prosecco during an Instagram contest for photos as well as a brunch for two at Via Verdi during a business card drawing.
