Roche Bobois and DC Magazine teamed up for ‘A Time to Celebrate’

WASHINGTON - Jan. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- “Time” was recently on everyone’s side as Roche Bobois Paris, a world leader in the design and distribution of high-end home furnishings, and DC Magazine/Modern Luxury DC hosted a gala celebration in Roche Bobois’ Wisconsin Avenue showroom.

Guests gathered for a delicious array of canapés and beverages because it was “A Time to Celebrate,” the evening’s theme inspired by Roche Bobois’ famed Astrolab dining table. One of the company’s most innovative designs, the table features watch-like wheels and gears that turn and glisten beneath the glass top as they automatically extend and retract leaves at both ends of the table via remote control. One of the events partners, Liljenquist & Beckstead Jewelers, further enhanced the “time” theme with an extraordinary display of elegant timepieces placed adjacent to the Astrolab table so guests could see the similarity between the watches’ and table’s precision mechanisms.  The evening also provided some interactive fun with a photo booth provided by event partner Moshe Zusman Photography.
