Jan. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Campaigned for a number of years by Jeremy Welch and Mark Pangborn, the car has achieved notable racing success in several series including GTSCC, Gentleman Drivers and the E-Type Challenge picking up good overall results as well as a number of 1st E-Type finishes.

The car is full of race proven specification. The engine is a freshly rebuilt Denis Welch Motorsport full race engine, producing circa 385BHP on the dyno and only limited testing and dyno mileage since. This level of performance is achieved by using an aluminium block, Omega 88mm forged pistons, steel crankshaft and rods with DWR (Denis Welch Racing) vibration damper. The cylinder head is a fully CNC gas flowed, wide angle type with all DWR components. The finished engine is fitted with an ultra-light steel flywheel and race specification clutch. It’s not only the engine that has been upgraded though. This E-Type is fitted with Denis Welch Motorsport rear uprights and lightweight tubular drive shafts as well as Denis Welch Motorsport competition front and rear anti-roll bars. Finished in Green, the car looks every inch the thoroughbred racer that it is. Correct Dunlop MK9 front brake callipers and Denis Welch Motorsport Magnesium peg drive wheels shod with Dunlop racing tyres complete the period sporting look.

The car is supplied ready to go racing again with FIA specification harness and seat as well as a current HTP. Fully road registered with V5c and period registration number 2747 WK, the purchaser will also benefit from 12 months MOT.

The car is available to view at Denis Welch Motorsport, Yoxall, Staffordshire by appointment. The asking price is £210,000.
