LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Jan. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- Kentucky Acura Dealers is proud to announce that Acura unveiled a new concept car at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Forbes ranked the Precision Concept as one of the five prettiest vehicles on display at the show, saying, “The Precision could and probably should morph into an actual car, because it is pretty sexy to look at.”

The stunning red Acura Precision Concept sports a V-shaped hood that evokes classic muscle car looks before flowing into aerodynamically sculpted sides that evoke a lower, more aggressive stance than most modern luxury cars. A pentagon-shaped grille with the Acura “A” front and center gives the concept one of the most distinctive noses of the whole show. The headlights are practically slits, a pair of eyes that are seamlessly integrated into the curves of the hood.

While the look and feel of the concept car is that of a luxurious coupe like the upcoming Acura NSX — it debuted at this same auto show in 2015 — the Precision Concept is actually a four-door sedan, pointing the way toward Acura's future as a make of high-end cars that can fit the needs of almost any driver.

The Precision Concept is not likely to ever be seen on the street, however. Concept cars are much more about branding and sweeping design ideas than they are practicality, and that points to a bright future for the Acura lineup.

Acura is promoting a new “quantum continuum” design concept that ensures that the impeccable good looks and precision engineering of the exterior carry over to the interior of each of their vehicles. Expect body-colored interior accents and the same attention to lines and curves that made this car turn heads at the auto show.

In response to the unveiling of the new sedan concept, Takahiro Hachigo, president and CEO of Honda, said, “This is a start for the next 30 years of Acura.”
