The 2017 Honda Ridgeline Makes its Debut at the 2016 North American International Auto ShowThe 2017 Ridgeline made waves in Detroit at the 2016 North American International Auto Show, and it's arriving in Central Florida soon.
Though no official release date has been set yet, the 2017 Ridgeline should join the rest of the new Honda lineup before summer gets into gear, letting drivers put it to work or take it out for fun on the weekend when the weather's nice. The specs for the 3.5L V6 engine under the hood of the 2017 Ridgeline haven't been released yet, but past models have shared a powertrain with the Honda Pilot, which currently offers up nearly 300 hp and can tow up to 5,000 pounds. Drivers can likely expect similar levels of performance from the new pickup. John Mendel, executive vice president for American Honda Motor Co., Inc., introduced the model: "We are bringing our unique technology and original thinking to the market in a new and challenging concept for a Honda pickup. We think we've got a better idea, a truck that uses its unibody construction and Honda packaging magic to deliver more of the things that many of today's truck customers want and need, with none of the things they don't." The engineers and designers of the new Ridgeline focused on a few core goals to further set their truck apart from competitors. The end result was a truck with: ● Improved handling whether on pavement or off-road ● Class-leading space in both the bed and the cab ● Innovative new features for the truck bed ● High-tech gadgets for the cab For the latest information on the 2017 Honda Ridgeline near Central Florida, readers are encouraged to contact a Central Florida Honda Dealer in their area. With multiple locations across the state, area drivers should have no trouble finding the Ridgeline when it arrives later this year.
