The Bronx’s Own Ejay The DJ Brings Kids Together Through Music And Dance

BRONX, N.Y. - Feb. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- Award-winning radio personality and deejay, Ejay The DJ, participates in the Bronx’s Community Board Athletic Leadership League (known as C-Ball) as their Deejay. Every first and third Monday, from 7pm to 8pm, Ejay deejays for C-Ball’s radio show called C-Ball Club House on damatrixstudios.com. Also, every first Saturday of the month, he deejays for C-Ball’s basketball game which will be the community players versus the city agencies. The next game will be held this Saturday, February 6^th, at the Bronx River Community Center.

With Ejay The DJ being a part of this organization, he feels he is bringing the kids together through music and dance. “My job is to get the kids excited and entertain them through the music. It feels good when someone is interested in learning about dj’ing at a young age.” said Ejay.

Ejay The DJ sets an example for the youth of pursuing their dreams while giving back to the community.

“I feel my contribution is inspirational in the development of our youth. The connection through music is how I can connect with the kids today. I believe I help the kids have something to look forward to, while they learn the basics about height, weight, food and basketball, and enjoying some great music they can relate too, clean music. No cursing,” said Ejay.

This Saturday, February 6^th, you can see Ejay The DJ get the kids pumped and excited for C-Ball’s Basketball game at the Bronx River Community Center-CB#9, 1619 E. 174^th St., Bronx, NY. Prior to the game, there will be a pre-registered youth clinic at 11am. Then, the female game will start at 1:30pm and the male game will start at 3:30pm. The basketball game teams will be the community/celebrity versus the traffic police department. It’s free admission.

Ejay The Dj, has always had a passion for the music industry. With a keen understanding for the business and development aspects, he has made it his mission to expand his core competencies to succeed.

He began his professional career as an intern at Roc-a-Fella Records as a member of the promotional and marketing team called, “The StreetTeam.” This was a rewarding position as it propelled his level of knowledge in the communications and events sector of the music industry. Ejay, is a driven and highly motivated individual, one who is not complacent. He pursues all valuable opportunities in order to expand his knowledge and insight in the music and entertainment industry.  With an entrepreneurial spirit, he has been thriving as a freelance disc jockey and radio host at local and regional stations.

Since the launch of WireRadio247, his online radio show, he has experienced tremendous success and exposure in the entertainment and music scene. His personal brand and skills has been recognized by many.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications focusing on radio, from SUNY Old Westbury, Ejay has expanded his academic proficiency in his field of specialization. Furthermore, he has the personality and charisma to excel in this industry. His client list, just to name a few, includes Rick Ross, Tone Trump, Jadakiss, Ron Browz, and Lil Flip.  In addition to radio broadcasting, he is continuing to hone his skills as a mixer of underground music and uncovering the next top talent. About C-Ball

The Community Board Athletic Leadership League, Inc. (better known as C-Ball) is a community based athletic league designed for New York City youth both male and female, ages 7 through 18, who possess the ability to play sports at a competitive level, have established levels of academic proficiency in elementary through high school and who demonstrate a commitment to participate in NYC government practices on a local level, through their involvement at community boards in areas where they reside.

C-Ball encourages each youth athlete to become leaders in the community as well as role models amongst their peers, showcasing themselves as positive examples by displaying good behaviors at all times while upholding an educational standard of staying in school and obtaining good grades. C-Ball also requires that all youth athletes become familiar with the role and responsibilities of government on a local level, by engaging with Community Boards in areas where they reside through attendance at General Board and Committee meetings. At these meetings, youth will interact with older adults serving to bridge the generation gap while fostering respect through the exchange of ideas at the local community board level which would eventually promote positive dialogue amongst youth and older adults, the business community, local media and elected officials.
