AMD’s Beverly Kuykendall to participate at 2016 EY Roundtable

MIRAMAR, Fla. - Feb. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Beverly Kuykendall, President of Government Business at American Medical Depot (AMD) is an invited panelist at Ernst and Young’s 2016 Black History Month Executive Roundtable. This popular event will be held on February 24, 2016 at the L.A. Hotel Downtown in Los Angeles, CA. The focus of this year’s networking event and professional discussion forum is Diversity Leveraged: Achieving High Impact. Participants will gain valuable insight into creative ways to cultivate diverse teams, and learn from their peers how to navigate today’s competitive business landscape.

Beverly Kuykendall leads AMD’s expansion into key areas aligned with the firm’s long-term strategic goals. She has a background in relationship development and government contracting, and brings a facilitative approach to understanding and proposing solutions to difficult economic issues. Kuykendall has demonstrated her expertise through her work with firms such as Proctor & Gamble, American Hospital Supply, Xerox and Herman Miller. She also served as President and CEO of Federal and Commercial Contracts, Incorporated (FCCi).

Kuykendall is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 50 Most Powerful Minority Women in Business, Supplier of the Year by the Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council, 2013 Small Business Champion of the Year by the Los Angeles District office of the U.S. Small Business Association, Entrepreneur of the Year by the Black Business Association of Los Angeles, and Advocate of the Year by the National Association of Minority Contractors of Southern California. Most recently, Kuykendall was recognized as one of South Florida’s 25 Most Influential and Prominent Women in Business and Leadership for 2015.

Kuykendall has a BS in Business Management from Cal Poly University in Pomona, California, and an MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
