AMD’s Beverly Kuykendall to Speak at the 6th Annual WAVE Seminar

MIRAMAR, Fla. - Feb. 10, 2016 - PRLog -- Beverly Kuykendall, President of Government Business at American Medical Depot (AMD) is a key presenter at the 6th Annual WAVE Seminar. The event will be held on March 17, 2016 at the Women’s Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery. Kuykendall will be delivering an inspirational message about empowerment and business to a group of Veteran Woman-Owned Small Businesses.

The Women as Veteran Entrepreneurs (WAVE) event brings together women veterans that are working to make a difference. The event is a forum for Veteran Woman-Owned Small Businesses to promote success through (1) creating the opportunity to meet prime contractors to discuss business teaming, sub-contracting and mentoring opportunities, (2) providing information detailing success strategies for doing business with the government, (3) networking, and (4) creating a sense of civic responsibility to give back to support women veterans. Beverly Kuykendall is an accomplished business professional and highly requested speaker. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 50 Most Powerful Minority Women in Business, Supplier of the Year by the Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council, 2013 Small Business Champion of the Year by the Los Angeles District office of the U.S. Small Business Association, Entrepreneur of the Year by the Black Business Association of Los Angeles, and Advocate of the Year by the National Association of Minority Contractors of Southern California. Most recently, Kuykendall was recognized as one of South Florida’s 25 Most Influential and Prominent Women in Business and Leadership for 2015.

Kuykendall has a BS in Business Management from Cal Poly University in Pomona, California, and an MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
