About the Author
Glory Sasikala (Born: January 6th, 1964) is a poet and writer residing currently in Chennai, Tamilnadu. She was born in Kolkota and did her schooling there. Her husband, who was a bank manager with Canara Bank, died tragically in a road accident in 2008. She has two children, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. Glory works as Quality Analyst for language editing. Glory has published a novel, "Goodbye Papa" from Writers Workshop, Kolkata. She has also published her poems in several journals and anthologies. She has brought out several books online. She edited and published a collection of poems by 60 Indian poets, titled, "The Heart Only Whispers" in 2014. She has brought out a collection of short stories, titled "Cradle Snatcher's Distress and Other Stories" and several books of poetry in 2015. She also co-authored an e-book on Motor Neuron Disease (MND) along with eminent British author, Late Philip G Bell, titled, "Footprints on the Sands of Time." She is the moderator of a yahoo group for writers, "Glorioustimes," under which banner, she has conducted several book launches and held several poetry competitions. She is also the Editor and Publisher of the monthly online poetry and flash fiction magazine, "GloMag," which is published on the 11th of every month, and moderates a group of the same name on Facebook.
