Miss Northern Virginia Scholarship Organization Celebrates 5th Year

NORTHERN VA, Va. - Feb. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- On Sunday, 21 February 2016, The Miss Northern Virginia Scholarship Organization will host it’s 5^th Beauty Pageant and will crown 2016 Miss Northern VA, Miss Capitol Region, and New this year Miss Tysons;  winning contestants will be crowned in Miss , Outstanding Teen and Princess categories.  Our mission is to help build confidence, cultivate skills, promote healthy living, offer scholarships toward scholastic achievement, showcase talent and serve the community.  The new titleholders will have won over a panel of esteemed judges and shown that they have what it takes to execute the meaning of the 4-point Miss America Organization crown.  The 4-points of the crown represent Style, Service, Scholarship and Success.

This Milestone year’s theme is “Who Runs the World?...Girls!!”  In celebration of our 5th year, the Miss Northern Virginia Scholarship Organization will raise awareness on the Let Girls Learn Initiative. Globally, over 62 million girls, half of them adolescents, are not in school.
