California Republican Assembly to Conduct Presidential Endorsement Vote 3 Days Before Nevada Caucus

BUENA PARK, Calif. - Feb. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- The California Republican Assembly, the State's oldest GOP Volunteer Organization, will be endorsing a candidate for President this weekend at its upcoming state convention.

CRA President Tom Hudson remarked that "This Convention is the only 'California Straw Poll' in the GOP Primary, and could provide a critical boost to the winner, being held only three days before the Republican Caucuses of the neighboring state of Nevada."

In addition to the Presidential endorsement, CRA will be endorsing in California’s U.S. Senate race.

The three-day event will be held February 19-21, at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel in Buena Park.

The Friday Dinner will feature a forum entitled "A Conservative Agenda for the Next Republican President", with an all-star panel, including popular talk radio host INGA BARKS, Americans for Prosperity Director DAVID SPADY, Prop 187 Founder & Chairman RON PRINCE, and Hollywood producer and Author MICHAEL EMERSON.

The Saturday Congressional Luncheon will have "National Security, Terrorism and the Middle East" as its theme, and will feature two of the foremost foreign policy experts in the U.S House of Representatives: Congressman ED ROYCE, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Congressman DANA ROHRABACHER.

At the Saturday Dinner Banquet, CRA will be awarding its 2016 Ronald Reagan Freedom Fighter award to MAT STAVER, Esq, Chairman of Liberty Counsel. Mr. Staver is one of America's leading defenders of religious freedoms, and serves as the Attorney for KIM DAVIS, the Kentucky Clerk that refused to violate her religious beliefs when ordered to issue marriage certificates that redefined marriage, as well as for SANDRA MERRIT, one of the activists that conducted the Planned Parenthood undercover video stings.

The Sunday Prayer Breakfast will feature BRAD DACUS, Esq, President of the Pacific Justice Institute , whose organization is widely known as one of the last line of defense for religious freedoms, successfully defending Pastor Rick Warren's right to pray at Presidential Inaugurations, as well as the Pledge of Allegiance, and the "In God We Trust" currency motto.

The Sunday General Session will feature a vote to endorse for U.S. Senate and for President of the United States.
