BOSTON - Feb. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Boston, MA (February 23, 2016) dipity dating app, the first-of-its-kind free dating application that allows users to choose first-date meet-up spots based on geo-targeted locations – mixed in with a little bit of fate – is now available for Apple iPhone and iPad on the Apple App Store.

New members can simply download the app from the App Store and sign in using their Facebook account. Once confirmed, members can search for potential matches by age, distance, sex and zip code. Once you found a potential match, you have the ability to start chatting. If either party would like to move forward, you simply choose one of up to ten suggested locations within close proximity of each other. If you pick the same location, it was meant to be, and you can continue to setup a day and time to meet at the mutually selected location. If two different locations are chosen, it just wasn’t meant to be, and you go back into the pool of future available matches.

“The dating app market was getting saturated, but we weren’t seeing much innovation,” said dipity co-founder, Patrick Flynn. “Not only is dipity the first app that integrates location-based places to meet for your date, but it also adds in an element of fate. If you and your match select the same place, it creates an immediate conversation starter and sense of common ground to start from.”

Two distinguishing features dipity offers are the Hide Me option in preferences, a privacy mode allowing members confidentiality from shared Facebook connections, along with the undo feature for members who have second thoughts or accidentally clicked “liked,” and would like to take that decision back. Both features are free to use.

“dipity not only gives fate a nudge in the right direction, but it also serves as a natural ice breaker, whether you picked the same meet-up location or not,” said co-founder Dominic Amenta. ”We heard the complaints from friends who are on dating apps now. They were frustrated about having to pay for extra features, and upset some don’t offer exactly everything they want out of their dating app, so Pat and I spent the last ten months developing a dating app to create the ultimate experience for singles who are passionate and committed to the online dating experience. dipity is the culmination of that.”

dipity was released on the Apple App Store on Thursday, February 11, 2016 and will be available for Android on the Google Play Store this summer.
