March 27, 2016  11:00 a.m – 12:30 a.m.  MST
Let’s talk Recipe!  Aleš Urbanczik is our featured teacher, from Czech Association for Structural Integration (CASI) (http://casi-rolfterapie.cz/indexEN.html) He will be sharing his insights and thoughts that may provide inspiration for those who work with the Series.  It’s a great discussion to partake in and we hope you will join in on this exciting call.

Aleš Urbanczik trained at The Guild For Structural Integration with Peter Melchior, Emmett Hutchins, Neal Powers, David Davis and Nilce Silvera.  He has been practicing and teaching HathaYoga for 25 years and regularly teaches anatomy-workshops for both Yoga teacher trainings as well as on an individual basis for interested groups of therapists, dancers and other movement interested individuals.

In 2011 the Czech Association for Structural Integration (CASI) appointed him to the post of Executive Instructor for their Structural Integration training program  which has the foundation in the original recipe of the basic ten SI sessions, as taught by Dr. Rolf.

Working with Dr. Rolf’s principles in the traditional Asanas, Aleš gradually developed a unique teaching style and named it “RolfYoga”. After having taught several workshops for Pilates teachers in Prague, these teachers started calling their style of teaching “RolfPilates”. One of the results of these projects has been the production of a RolfPilates DVD. This DVD includes a free chapter for those “who have never and will never exercise” called “How to survive the madness of everyday life ”.

The spiritual background he comes from is that of Zen-Buddhism. Aleš received the ordination of a Zen-Boddhisatva in the French Temple of ‘La Gendronnière’

Aleš Urbanczik has lived in the Czech Republic, England, Germany, USA (Santa Cruz) and Switzerland.  He currently lives and works  in private practice in Meilen, near the swiss town of Zurich.
