SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - March 3, 2016 - PRLog -- When discussions of the heart ensue they are divided into two categories, the heart as it relates to the organ functioning to keep the body alive, or the heart as it relates to love and emotions.  Award winning author, Barbra Gentry-Pugh shares the dynamics of the heart in her new book “Every Beat of My Heart.”  Barbra shares how the two are one in the same. In her book co-authored by her brother, Michael Gentry the duo shares heartwarming and wrenching stories of matters of the heart.

Barbra has always been fascinated with the fundamental design of the heart, and as a registered nurse she has worked for over 35 years with patients who have heart conditions. Over the years during her personal tragedies, which include losing her husband to a heart attack, Barbra began to research how emotional and spiritual heart issues affect the physical heart. In her struggles, she has penned a prolific book to help others with the matters of the heart. “People are hurting and a lot of the emotions both good and bad have a direct impact on the function of the heart, there is such thing of broken heart disease,” says Barbra.
