TCT Federal Credit Union’s Care for Kids Campaign Benefits Pediatric Patients

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. - March 4, 2016 - PRLog -- TCT Federal Credit Union’s Care for Kids Campaign raised a total of $3,000 to benefit pediatric patients of two hospitals within the Credit Union’s service area of Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties.

“The TCT Care for Kids Campaign has been a success thanks to the generosity of our members and employees. Their donations help us support the remarkable pediatric care provided by our area’s hospitals and help comfort children when they need it most,” said Curt Cecala, TCT Federal Credit Union’s CEO.

TCT and their members have a long history of raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network, which supports the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. Expanding upon that success, TCT decided to help pediatric patients at the hospitals located in their tri-county service area as well.

Funds were raised by offering members and staff the opportunity to make a $10.00 donation in exchange for the TCT Care for Kids stuffed animal for 2015 - Luka the Lion. A $1,500 donation was made to each hospital and a supply of stuffed animals were provided to be distributed to sick or injured children to help calm and comfort them when admitted to the hospital or emergency room.

The 2016 Care for Kids Campaign kicked off this March with the arrival of Penny the Panda. A $10.00 donation in exchange for Penny the Panda may be made at any of TCT’s four branch locations through April 30, 2016.
