Irish American Youth Leadership is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 that fosters leadership among high school students, College Students and young professionals. We believe in the power of the youth to effect positive change for themselves and their community. Leveraging local leaders and community resources, IAYL offers leadership initiatives that gives High School, College students and Young Professionals the necessary tools and real life experiences to become strong leaders in the community. The most unique aspect of the IAYL organization is that it is planned and led by a (Youth Board) because it gives these young leaders the opportunity to practice what they have learned while also showing the upcoming generation that great leadership is within reach.
Our motto is that with the help of born leaders, "leaders are made" we serve youth by bringing them in contact with the community and we serve the community by bringing it in contact with its youth. In our experience, the young leaders bring the dreams and passion to the table and community leaders bring the pragmatism and know-how.
