BDMI successfully celebrated its
Golden Jubilee at
Netaji Indoor Stadium. Tollywood Actor
Parambrata Chattopadhyay anchored the entire programme. The stadium witnessed nearly 2000 students performing for over three hours on the grand stage erected with three giant screens. Suranjan Das, Vice Chancellor of
Jadavpur University was the guest of honour for the day. Students from different branches of BDMI Gemstone, Garia I, Garia II, Boral, Bansdroni, Pratapgarh II, Stepping Stone, Vijaygarh and Golf Garden participated in the event. Performances included ‘We are the World’, ‘Daastaan e Sardar’, ‘Vadya Sanchar’, ‘Magical Melody’. ‘In Memorium’ was a moving tribute to BDMI’s founder Principal and Director
Late Usha Mehta who passed away last year. Ex-students of the school felicitated the former teachers.
The highlights of the evening were power packed performances by singing stars Anwesha Dutta and Ujjaini Mukherjee, both former students of BDMI. The event achieved a grand success!
