Proximity to Population Centers

Health centers need to be close to the needy, which means Local Government Units (LGUs) must take more time to consider the placement of health centers. Health centers are first responders, and provide vital information to the City, Department of Health (DOH) and central government.

With better coverage, the LGU can ensure availability of services when they're needed the most.  Health centers can also track disease outbreaks.

Distribution of Services

In Quezon City, some centers are overlapping, whilst some have no coverage. (See illustration below)
