Wingate at Beacon Receives 5-Star Rating, Highest Industry Distinction

Five stars is the highest possible rating for a skilled nursing center. Wingate at Beacon is the only skilled care center in Dutchess County with this distinction; it is the second Wingate facility in the NY area, alongside Wingate at Ulster, to achieve this distinction this year.

The CMS rating system is a widely used consumer tool considered to be the gold standard for evaluating skilled care centers. Wingate at Beacon’s 5-Star rating was achieved as a cumulative result of the past three years of surveys conducted by the Department of Health. The survey assesses the quality of care, health and safety, nursing staffing levels and outcome measurements.
