FORT WORTH, Texas - March 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Dr. Daron Stegall, a longtime practice management consultant in the chiropractic industry, announced the launch of Pivotal Practice Solutions, a company that specializes in developing cash and membership chiropractic offices.

“The program is for a specific niche of chiropractors that want to open a new cash or membership practice, need some assistance marketing their current cash practice or would like help transitioning an insurance-based office away from 3rd party dependence,” stated Daron Stegall, DC, who is now the President and COO of Pivotal Practice Solutions.

After providing practice management services to chiropractors for more than 12 years through SuccessfulChiro, a company he co-founded in 2001, Dr. Stegall began to see more and more need and desire by chiropractors to transition away from a practice dependent on insurance for reimbursement of services.

He began working on a business model in 2010 which resulted in the development of Express Chiropractic & Wellness, a cash- and membership-based business model for chiropractors. In August of 2012, Dr. Stegall opened the first Express Chiropractic location in Keller, Texas. What he discovered astonished him. "There is a huge niche of people out there that want affordable access to regular chiropractic care as part of their wellness lifestyle versus just using it for pain relief," Dr. Stegall said. The success of the business model prompted him to franchise the Express Chiropractic model.

Pivotal Practice Solutions is an offshoot of his efforts to create a cash practice that not only provides patients access to affordable and convenient chiropractic care but also gives the practicing chiropractor a simpler practice model in which to provide the chiropractic services.

“Chiropractors are trained to provide chiropractic care. It’s what we are good at and what we identify with to the cellular level,” said Dr. Stegall. “As well, a chiropractic office is supposed to be a place for healing. The work we do is so powerful, but dealing with issues like insurance denials, complex billing and paperwork requirements and everything else that goes along with an insurance based-chiropractic office changes the environment, it pulls the power out of the practice and often times the passion out of the chiropractor. It’s not supposed to work this way,” he went on to say.

Dr. Stegall and the Pivotal Practice Solutions team believe that just as there is a political shift happening right now in America, there is a shift slowly building steam within the niche of chiropractic care. As insurance reimbursement continues to deteriorate, it adversely affects not only the ability of the medical or chiropractic office to get paid but also affects patient access to the care they need.
