Sacred Heart School names Tracey Merrill as Chief Development Officer

PLYMOUTH, Mass. - March 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com), a private, Catholic, co-educational school for students in preschool through grade 12, has named Tracey Merrill of Cohasset, Massachusetts as Chief Development Officer.

In this role, she will plan, coordinate and assure implementation of strategies to develop and maintain donors and contributions to support the school.

Merrill has 22 years of institutional and consulting experience with non-profit institutions.  Prior to joining Sacred Heart, she was Vice President of Development for the South Shore YMCA.  Her extensive experience in fundraising and development includes tenures as Major Gifts Officer with Providence Country Day School and as Development Consultant with Jaques & Company in Danvers.

Merrill received Bachelor’s Degrees in both Geography and Women’s Studies from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont; a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Pennsylvania; and her Master’s Degree in Comparative and International Education from Oriel College, University of Oxford in Oxford, England.

She holds membership in the Association of Fundraising Professionals; Women in Development of Greater Boston; and the South Shore Development Network.  Merrill’s volunteer service includes serving on the boards of Boston Collegiate Charter School and Cohasset Education Foundation.
