Merrill has 22 years of institutional and consulting experience with non-profit institutions. Prior to joining Sacred Heart, she was Vice President of Development for the South Shore YMCA. Her extensive experience in fundraising and development includes tenures as Major Gifts Officer with Providence Country Day School and as Development Consultant with Jaques & Company in Danvers. Merrill received Bachelor’s Degrees in both Geography and Women’s Studies from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont; a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Pennsylvania; She holds membership in the Association of Fundraising Professionals; “I am thrilled to welcome Tracey to our Sacred Heart family,” said Pamela Desmarais, President of Sacred Heart School. “A comprehensive experience in strategic planning and strong track record of major gifts and foundation fundraising makes her the perfect person to fill the pivotal role of Chief Development Officer.” About Sacred Heart School Sacred Heart is a private, co-educational Catholic school system, which provides educational opportunities for students throughout southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod, from preschool through grade 12.
