Zurn's Water Conservation Campaign Embodies Values of World Plumbing Day 2016

Zurn Industries, LLC's observance of World Plumbing Day 2016 (March 11) includes its model water conservation campaign, "Stand Up for the Earth," a program of online water management tools and information complemented by an ever-growing roster of maximum water-efficiency solutions.

The online education campaign is reinforced by real-world, landmark solutions that achieve industry-leading plumbing and water-savings standards, such as the Zurn EZCarry™ High Efficiency Toilet and Carrier (HETC) System. This new technology combines two highly engineered components: a hydraulically-optimized carrier and the EcoVantage® 1.1 gpf wall bowl system. Third-party verified testing confirmed that the Zurn 1.1 gpf HETC system evacuates waste more than twice as far as industry-standard 1.28 gpf systems and up to three times as far as other systems. This Zurn innovation is expected to improve overall acceptance of low-flow toilet systems because it removes the likelihood of line clogging.
