CT Beer and Polish Food Pairing Night

ENFIELD, Conn. - March 11, 2016 - PRLog -- The Polish National Home of Hartford (Hartford PNH) is hosting a beer and food pairing event on March 19th at 6pm in their Chopin Ballroom.

The event is featuring select Connecticut craft beers paired with freshly prepared Polish cuisine from their new executive chef team.  Entertainment throughout the evening is provided by Theatre of Imagination Novum, who will perform a selection of their favorite songs from past performances.

"Last year we hosted a Polish beer tasting event in our dining room and we barely fit all the guests", stated Anna Gralewska-Mumford, Hartford PNH President.  "We anticipate an even larger number of guests this year, which is why we moved this event to our Chopin Ballroom."

Unlike a traditional beer tasting, this event is highlighting pairings of local craft beer with Polish food.

"Our game dinner this past November, which featured Connecticut wine and liquor paired with traditional Polish game cuisine, was the inspiration for this beer event", commented Robert Kwasnicki, Hartford PNH Vice President.  "We are excited about the wonderful craft beers, wines and liquor our state is producing.  The PNH is proud to be developing as a go-to place for connoisseurs of craft ambrosia."

Mr. Kwasnicki adds, "The theater group performing at this event, Theatre of Imagination Novum, will add a dimension to the experience that is unavailable anywhere else that I know of.  This is a truly unique event and one that uniquely celebrates some of the best Connecticut has to offer."

The Polish National Home of Hartford is located at 60 Charter Oak Ave, Hartford, CT 06106. The building, which is listed on the national register of historical places, features a pub, restaurant and ballroom.  There is ample free off-street parking, another unique element of the Hartford PNH.
