PRLog -- BlueField CEO announced today a new employee -based dream and build program for rank and file positions. All current and future BlueField janitorial staff members will be selected to participate in a 1 year business ownership transition program. "Our company was built on the foundation of ensuring our team has the resources to realize their dream. Often time people work to pay the bills and make it to the next day. With the dream and build program, any employee who is dedicated and hungry for more than a pay check, can own an exclusive BlueField license territory, "said Terrance Edmond, Chief Executive Officer of BlueField."
The dream and build program teaches employees the principals of business ownership using the HP Life platform for entrepreneurs. Employees will learn the multi-functional aspects such as sales, marketing, accounting, and business development;
essential to effectively compete in the facility management industry. Employees with language barriers are placed in English as a second language assistance program. "The janitorial turn-over rate is the highest in comparison to other industries. I believe a part of the problem is how facility management firms view and treat employees. Our company is not waiting for that perfect market penetration or capital investment to invest in our people. It's not about money, it's about a sincere intention to include everyone in the opportunity funnel," said Terrance.
This program is different than the typical franchisee model that larger companies use to offset growth cost. Employees that participate in the dream and build program are not required to invest money or purchase material. The dream and build program is 100% company funded and acts as a corporate development program.
