When: Tune in at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 14 at 6:30pm on WFMZ-TV Channel 69 to watch St. Luke's Health Now What: St. Luke's University Health Network has created a new television special, St. Luke's Health Now. The pilot episode features nationally recognized cancer experts discussing access to the latest and greatest oncology clinical trials, with a particular focus on personalized cancer care and targeted therapies. The show is another collaboration between Ashley Russo, President and Executive Producer, ASR Media Productions, and Ken Szydlow, Vice President, Marketing and Public Relations, St. Luke's University Health Network, who serve as executive producers for Health Now. The pilot episode, Cancer Clinical Trials, was taped at PBS39 studios before a live studio audience, many of whom are cancer survivors. The one-hour pilot, hosted by Ms. Russo, includes an all-star lineup of St. Luke's cancer specialists: "St. Luke's is a clinical trials industry leader and has extraordinary access to the latest studies, both locally and in cooperation with nationally renowned academic research centers. St. Luke's patients can access the trials here in the Lehigh Valley. Our goal is to ensure that patients know the care options available to them. Future episodes will focus on advances in other clinical specialties," Health Now complements other St. Luke's productions like "Talk with Your Doctor," a weekly, 30-minute, live call-in show with over 1 million viewers in PA and NJ. Mr. Szydlow and Ms. Russo also collaborate on The Peak TV (http://www.thepeaktv.com), a weekly health and wellness television program that provides viewers with thought-provoking stories featuring, among other topics, Lehigh Valley-based care options.
