Follow on Google News | Summer Reading Camp in Los Angeles is Having an Open House!Come and join the PRIDE Learning Center Open House to learn about their specialized summer program in four Los Angeles locations.
By: PRIDE Learning Center This intensive yet fun summer reading camp is available to the public and is designed to help school-age children develop a strong reading foundation for academic and emotional success, according to Karina Richland, owner of PRIDE Learning Centers. According to Richland, the summer reading camp at PRIDE is designed to help students in a way that a typical summer reading program cannot. "The summer months are such a perfect time for struggling students to boost their skills and close the reading and comprehension gaps," says Richland. "Our kids gain one to two years in their reading skills in just four weeks!" The summer reading camp at PRIDE Learning Center will run weekly from June - August to accommodate busy schedules and traveling families. Children can attend from either 9:00am - 12:00pm or 12:30pm - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. All teachers are credentialed and deliver one-on-one Orton-Gillingham language and reading lessons. There will be an Open House for the public to come meet the PRIDE Learning Center staff, learn more about the program, get a reading assessment and register for summer camp. The Open House will be on Saturday, April 2nd from 12:00 - 3:00pm at Trenholme Speech located at 2346 Westwood Blvd in Los Angeles, Ca 90064. Individuals interested in the Open House in Los Angeles can call (949) 484-0230 to RSVP and schedule an assessment or email info@pridelearningcenter.com.
