DALLAS - March 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Cody Freeman fell in love with the racing works after attending a World of Outlaw event with his father, at an early age. In 2011, he got behind the wheel of a dirt oval flat kart starting his racing career. In only his 2nd event to enter, he captured his first victory. Within 6 months he was tuning and making changes to his own kart and engine packages.
In 2013 Cody moved out of the karting world and behind the wheel of a 600cc restricted micro sprint. Without ever being behind the wheel of one; his first time to drive was under race conditions. From the beginning many people was able to recognize Cody's potential recording a Top 10 finish his very first time out. Cody quickly gained the attention of many drivers and competitors as the type of driver that will push you to the edge and race you extremely hard but yet extremely clean. This driving style and attitude has led to him having a considerable amount of respect within the pits and garner the trust of many teams and sponsors. In 201,5 Cody jumped all over the chance to get behind the wheel of an asphalt super truck in the Southeast Super Truck Series making his first start at the famed Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina.

He became the youngest driver to ever start in the series. In only his second start he became the youngest driver to record a Top 10 finish in the S.E.S.T. Series at Tri-County Motor Speedway in Hudson, NC. While racing is Cody's passion and he is determined to make it his career. By studying the mechanics behind it all Cody is quick to catch on how changes affect the car on the track, and often makes the final decision on the car's setup. There is rarely a time where work is being done to his car that you cannot find him somewhere in the mix. He uses what he learns through racing and finds ways to apply it to his school education and how the two translate together so he can improve in both aspects. He often tells people that racing is not only fun but it is his job and his choice for his future.
