In 1989 he started his career with Sterling Insurance Company, where he was assistance Vice President and participated as a core member in the company's management team. In 1993, Ken took on the role of President and CEO at Sterling Marketing Services, where he successfully launched and managed wholesale insurance operation.

Ken made his move to North Carolina in 2009, when he took on the position of Vice President of a local insurance firm establishing and managing their commercial insurance division.
