Dark Cubed Licenses CodeLock Technology from Sandia National Laboratories

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - March 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Dark³ ("Dark Cubed") has entered into a test and evaluation agreement with Sandia National Laboratories for CodeLock 2.0 ("CodeLock").  CodeLock is a sophisticated technology developed by Sandia National Laboratories and funded through the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE), Cybersecurity for Energy Delivery Systems (CEDS) R&D Program and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transition To Practice Program (TTP).

Dark Cubed is a new cyber security startup focused on creating elegant, innovative, and efficient products in a cyber security product market that traditionally defaults to products that increase the complexity and cost of maintaining a security infrastructure.  The first product developed by Dark Cubed provides an effective, versatile solution to the lack of visibility into cyber threats for medium sized businesses (between $10M and $1B in revenue).  This solution is built on an innovative, near real-time information sharing infrastructure that allows Dark Cubed customers to gain significant community and social benefits associated with near real-time information sharing without the traditional barriers of trust and liability. Dark Cubed is exploring the integration of CodeLock into this infrastructure to provide tamper-proof trust anchors that will enhance the privacy and anonymization capabilities already developed by the Dark Cubed team.
